Dear Readers,<br />
As we begin our final semester in Javelina Nation, Karen and I have found ourselves reflecting<br />
on the institution we have called home for more than a decade. There is so very much of which to<br />
be proud—our students are excelling, our faculty are leaders in their fields and our community is<br />
steadfast in their support of our great university.<br />
Looking back upon our time here, one thing is without question—our growth, our excellence, our<br />
opportunity—we realized these momentous achievements together and that has been one of the<br />
greatest joys of our years in Javelina Nation.<br />
On the cover and inside this issue are just a handful of some of the people who continue to work<br />
