M.S. in Criminology and Criminal Justice<br />
UT’s master’s degree in criminology and criminal justice<br />
prepares students for both practitioner and management<br />
careers in criminal justice and public safety. It is ideal for<br />
those embarking on a new career or seeking advancement<br />
in law enforcement, corrections, probation and parole,<br />
victim advocacy or criminal justice management. It also<br />
provides excellent preparation for students wishing to<br />
pursue doctoral studies.<br />
Comprehensive Curriculum<br />
Students gain the theoretical groundwork along with the<br />
research and statistical skills needed to design and evaluate<br />
effective public safety policy and practice. They also learn<br />
the structure of the criminal justice system and the nature<br />
of successful crime prevention programs.<br />

Students may choose between thesis and non-thesis<br />
