M.S. in Criminology and Criminal Justice
UT’s master’s degree in criminology and criminal justice
prepares students for both practitioner and management
careers in criminal justice and public safety. It is ideal for
those embarking on a new career or seeking advancement
in law enforcement, corrections, probation and parole,
victim advocacy or criminal justice management. It also
provides excellent preparation for students wishing to
pursue doctoral studies.
Comprehensive Curriculum
Students gain the theoretical groundwork along with the
research and statistical skills needed to design and evaluate
effective public safety policy and practice. They also learn
the structure of the criminal justice system and the nature
of successful crime prevention programs.
