“Keep My Commandments”<br />
In his goodness, God created us with loving hearts.<br />
God set his laws in our hearts so that we could live<br />
happily as his children. God also gave us written<br />
laws—the Ten Commandments. These special laws<br />
help us to stay close to God and to love others as<br />
Jesus did. Jesus said:<br />
“If you love me, you will keep my<br />
commandments” (John 14:15).<br />
The commandments show us ways to love and<br />
honor God. They help us to treat everyone with love<br />
and respect. They also help us to have respect for<br />
ourselves. By following the Ten Commandments, we<br />
show our love for God, ourselves, and others.<br />
