FLIGHT CENTRE UK
GENDER PAY GAP REPORT 2017
Flight Centre UK is pleased to report a median gender pay gap of just 4.55% for hourly pay in favour of
men – compared to the national ONS median 18.1%.
Designed to highlight the difference in average pay of men and women, the Government’s compulsory
gender pay reporting is now a legal requirement for all businesses employing more than 250 staff.
To satisfy Government methodology, Flight Centre commissioned an external audit to rigorously test
the fairness of the company’s pay system through a variety of different tasks. This included probing the
differences between men and women for hourly pay as well as bonus payments for all relevant employees.
