<br /> this is our<br /> CRAFT<br /> 1<br /> welcome to<br /> CRAFT<br /> Traditions Around The Table<br /> 2<br /> If you want to learn more about a culture, start by learning more about what they eat.<br /> I experienced this at an early age being raised in a big Italian family. Every dinner helped me connect with my heritage. Meals<br /> became a chance to cherish the ingredients and traditions that my Italian grandparents were also raised on.<br /> I’ve also adopted this philosophy when I travel, especially internationally. I love taking cooking classes abroad to learn about<br /> local traditions and ingredients and meet other chefs. Some of my best memories are cooking green curry in Thailand, taking<br /> paella classes in Spain, and learning to prepare Num Kruk in Cambodia. No matter where you are in the world, every plate<br /> has a story of the people, culture, and land. Taking a bite is listening to a whole society’s worth of experiences.<br /> This e<a title="CRAFT Magazine Spring Issue #8 page 1" href="https://secure.viewer.zmags.com/publication/8df38c6b?page=1"> this is our CRAFT 1</a> <a title="CRAFT Magazine Spring Issue #8 page 2" href="https://secure.viewer.zmags.com/publication/8df38c6b?page=2"> welcome to CRAFT Traditions Around The Table </a> <a title="CRAFT Magazine Spring Issue #8 page 3" href="https://secure.viewer.zmags.com/publication/8df38c6b?page=3"> If you want to learn more about a culture, start </a> <a title="CRAFT Magazine Spring Issue #8 page 4" href="https://secure.viewer.zmags.com/publication/8df38c6b?page=4"> Cooking From The Heart JAMAICAN CUISINE IN </a> <a title="CRAFT Magazine Spring Issue #8 page 5" href="https://secure.viewer.zmags.com/publication/8df38c6b?page=5"> Lei Day Dessert May 1st is Lei Day in Hawai’i, a </a> <a title="CRAFT Magazine Spring Issue #8 page 6" href="https://secure.viewer.zmags.com/publication/8df38c6b?page=6"> Giving Thanks FOR NEW TRADITIONS Augusta Uni</a> <a title="CRAFT Magazine Spring Issue #8 page 7" href="https://secure.viewer.zmags.com/publication/8df38c6b?page=7"> Smoked Pig & Picnics “ </a> <a title="CRAFT Magazine Spring Issue #8 page 8" href="https://secure.viewer.zmags.com/publication/8df38c6b?page=8"> Slice The Cake & LET THE GOOD TIMES ROL</a> <a title="CRAFT Magazine Spring Issue #8 page 9" href="https://secure.viewer.zmags.com/publication/8df38c6b?page=9"> Celebrating Hispanic Cuisine Every October, the d</a> <a title="CRAFT Magazine Spring Issue #8 page 10" href="https://secure.viewer.zmags.com/publication/8df38c6b?page=10"> Global Chefs Go Virtual RECIPES FROM HOME KIT</a> <a title="CRAFT Magazine Spring Issue #8 page 11" href="https://secure.viewer.zmags.com/publication/8df38c6b?page=11"> Chef Jessica Bueno RE </a> <a title="CRAFT Magazine Spring Issue #8 page 12" href="https://secure.viewer.zmags.com/publication/8df38c6b?page=12"> Step Right Up TO THE ANNUAL RESTAURANT F </a> <a title="CRAFT Magazine Spring Issue #8 page 13" href="https://secure.viewer.zmags.com/publication/8df38c6b?page=13"> The Un- Official Start OF SUMMER AT THE SHO</a> <a title="CRAFT Magazine Spring Issue #8 page 14" href="https://secure.viewer.zmags.com/publication/8df38c6b?page=14"> Breakfast For Dinner A CAMPUS TRADITION Thel</a> <a title="CRAFT Magazine Spring Issue #8 page 15" href="https://secure.viewer.zmags.com/publication/8df38c6b?page=15"> Mark Your Calendars FOR MOCHIKO CHICKEN DAY E</a> <a title="CRAFT Magazine Spring Issue #8 page 16" href="https://secure.viewer.zmags.com/publication/8df38c6b?page=16"> The iconic chocolate chip cookie was born in 1939</a> <a title="CRAFT Magazine Spring Issue #8 page 17" href="https://secure.viewer.zmags.com/publication/8df38c6b?page=17"> C hef es ond’s Recipe et m D C G LIC</a> <a title="CRAFT Magazine Spring Issue #8 page 18" href="https://secure.viewer.zmags.com/publication/8df38c6b?page=18"> Comida del Corazon “ </a> <a title="CRAFT Magazine Spring Issue #8 page 19" href="https://secure.viewer.zmags.com/publication/8df38c6b?page=19"> Georgia College and State University offered this</a> <a title="CRAFT Magazine Spring Issue #8 page 20" href="https://secure.viewer.zmags.com/publication/8df38c6b?page=20"> ITALIAN F FAMILY b MEMORIES tr or Jennif</a> <a title="CRAFT Magazine Spring Issue #8 page 21" href="https://secure.viewer.zmags.com/publication/8df38c6b?page=21"> On Thursdays and Sundays my family gathered for p</a> <a title="CRAFT Magazine Spring Issue #8 page 22" href="https://secure.viewer.zmags.com/publication/8df38c6b?page=22"> For The Love Of Baking Students at the University</a> <a title="CRAFT Magazine Spring Issue #8 page 23" href="https://secure.viewer.zmags.com/publication/8df38c6b?page=23"> Gullah Geechee Cuisine IN CHARLESTON The Gulla</a> <a title="CRAFT Magazine Spring Issue #8 page 24" href="https://secure.viewer.zmags.com/publication/8df38c6b?page=24"> Pass The Plate Bridgewater State University in Ma</a> <a title="CRAFT Magazine Spring Issue #8 page 25" href="https://secure.viewer.zmags.com/publication/8df38c6b?page=25"> Chicken & Rice Loyalists GATHER FOR A LEGENDA</a> <a title="CRAFT Magazine Spring Issue #8 page 26" href="https://secure.viewer.zmags.com/publication/8df38c6b?page=26"> A Trip Down Mem with Chef Par We chatted with Che</a> <a title="CRAFT Magazine Spring Issue #8 page 27" href="https://secure.viewer.zmags.com/publication/8df38c6b?page=27"> ory Lane ys Fortini What is one of your favorit</a> <a title="CRAFT Magazine Spring Issue #8 page 28" href="https://secure.viewer.zmags.com/publication/8df38c6b?page=28"> 28</a>
