The University of Tampa's dance program prepares students to become leaders in the field of<br />
dance education in a variety of capacities and settings, including teaching in private studios<br />
and community dance programs serving diverse populations. Students are also prepared for<br />
further study at the graduate level. Auditions are required, and scholarships are available.<br />

BACHELOR OF ARTS IN DANCE<br />
The B.A. in dance provides a foundation in dance technique,<br />
pedagogy, and choreography. Courses include various dance<br />
technique disciplines, teaching fundamentals and methods,<br />
improvisation, composition & choreography, dance history,<br />
dance production and anatomy and kinesiology as part of<br />
