he May 2021 IFC Food Safety event
was a welcome event amidst the
heightened COVID-19 pandemic and
the growing need, now more than ever, to
build food safety systems that are responsive
to the current safety concerns. The two-
day virtual event raised the bar for creativity
by offering the audience of over 500
participants from 85 countries a complete
food safety experience through the food
chain continuum and emphasizing the role of
the private sector and components necessary
for a sustainable food control system. The
