MAUREEN A. DALY
The Maureen A. Daly Innovation and
Collaboration Building was named after
Maureen for her support, leadership and
love of the University.
Daly first forged a relationship with the
University in 1987 when she and members
of UT’s Board of Trustees developed a
scholarship fund for accounting students.
She then went on to be a member of the
Board of Trustees from 1999 to 2011, serving
as vice chair and chair of the University’s
Educational Affairs Committee. She also
served as the Board’s secretary and vice
chair, and in 2007 was named as the Board’s
first female chair.
Daly said she was consistently inspired by
the “vision of President Vaughn as I watched
him painstakingly do what was necessary to
provide a rich total
