It's my honor to welcome you to this special edition of e Massachusetts Golfer,
commemorating 125 years of Mass Golf and its legacy rooted in the establishment
of organized amateur golf in the state.
In Massachusetts, amateur golf has always been at the heart of the game. It's what
makes the sport accessible, from young people learning at their local club, to seniors
nding ful llment in their later years, and to everyone in between. From the city to
the Cape, from public courses to historic private clubs, amateur golf connects players,
builds community, and brings people together across generations.
