Abstract<br />
The pressure of a rapidly rising population is being felt worldwide, and the agrochemicals<br />
industry is on the front line. Farmers are facing an imminent challenge: how can they<br />
balance growing crop production amidst an increasingly stringent regulatory environment?<br />
Pesticide formulators are therefore seeking innovative solutions that deliver optimal efficacy,<br />
safety and legislative compliance. This paper will look at the issues that the industry faces,<br />
and how biobased solvents give the flexibility to develop customizable formulations for<br />
enhanced crop protection, so that producers can continue to broaden their portfolio in a<br />
constantly evolving market.<br />
